  2. Harry....lol.....I saw that article in the Herlad yesterday an meant to forward it to Bill....then i got side tracked and forgot and I think it said thats 20% of school custodial force.............just goes to show u how over staffed they probably really were.

    Add'l the private sector can prob. provide these services for 2/3 of what it costs the public sector to do it.

    Hey how'd u like to be one of these custodians and then think about what the Boston FF'ers just scored. ABout a 3-4% pay raise per yr plus being paid to show up to work sober. Truly priceless.

    I think I read a while back when Spfld was in receivership that they were trying to bring or actaully brought Edu-Clean aprivate school custodial co???. Once a city is 200% upside down a professional mamager is brought in and union contracts get vioded.

  4. Worcester is letting custodians go also, but now Obama is asking congress to bail out municipalities again
