Read the September minutes of the airport commission---Went online an discovered NBAA=National Business Aircraft Association. Be interesting to see who the reps were who went to the conference and if any positive connections were made or initated.
Seems like Pat SantaMaria is one of the few who is actively pursuing aviation related business to relocate at the airport. We need more positive action like this instead of spending money on consultants.
Also noticed in the T&G scenes from a movie "Shuttle" being shot at the airport Oct 31 and Nov 1st. Every little bit of revenue helps.
Reading the minutes I wonder if any of the Airport Commissioners even speak, other then Pat Santa Maria.
Just read board minutes. Where is Alpha company going to go at ORH? They have planes but there nowhere to go. There is no office space, hanger space, or anything available. As for service center, we have one for Cirrus. But we don't want to let anyone know. The bottom line is. You can talk to everyone in the world on coming here but if there is no accomadatioms available they are not going to relocate here. ORH has nothing to offer GA/corporate aircraft or companies.
