Maybe Paulie should hang around the movie trailers at the old courthouse for when they start filming Bruce Willis' movie? That way he can pitch a script for the movie "Attack of the Pajama People" (or is it Jahn that coined that term???)

Manager says city budget was "a fine balancing act"......so I was wrong months ago when i said the '09 budget was going to be troublesome/problematic
But the city books are still cooked to the tune of hundreds of millions re pensions and health ins. obligations due to current & future retirees. This "off the city books" handling of pensions is analogous to me removing my mortgage from my personal finances and then saying claiming it's basically just a current & future obligation that I do not include as part of my personal financial picture.
Paulie, did you ask the Chamber of Commerce to stop by the Hotel Vernon for this pow -wow you're having with the city assistant power brokers re events that you and others want to hold in worcester.
Afterall this is Worc Based commerce.........right??
As stataed before..I e-mailed Dick Kennedy 8 times and mentioned to CC Smith..Smith looked at me like I had two heads and Kennedy nevah got back to me:>)
I even offered to finance all..just introduce me to the heavy hittahs in the city to the idea..
It was the 2nd time I approached folks about a downtown based event...both times no bites..eventually all good fishermen find a new fishing hole where the fish are a bitin'..I'm a good fisherman:>) Toot Tooot..me playin' my own bugle.
Anyway...got a big group coming tomorrow to the Hotel Vernon for the Worcester Event Directors Symposium
