Bermuda

First of all, it is not far away. Secondly I have been reading how the members of the Bermuda Hotel Association (BHA) have asked Tourism Minister Dr. Ewart Brown to meet them next month to discuss their proposals to change the way the island is being marketed. With projected hotel occupancy rates for September down to 50 per cent – down two per cent from last year – concern is mounting in the industry over the failure to attract more land-based tourists.

What do you think the budget is for tourism here? 35 MILLION DOLLARS!! Why not try to tap into that??? Right now USA3000 flies from Baltimore, Newark and Philadelphia to Bermuda, why not work with the BHA and Tourism Director of Bermuda to put together a package to attract USA3000 to ORH?

NCL runs a ship weekly from Boston to Bermuda. It stands to reason that an all-inclusive package, competitively prices with the cruise would do well.
