Its great to go to the airport and see a JetBlue A320 take off!! I couldn't beleive my eyes.

I drove up to the airport and saw a Jetblue A320 pulling back off from one of the jetways. I pulled into the commuter lot watched it taxi by and take off into the clouds over Leicester. Great to see that bird sitting on the runway waiting to take off. I got a pic but it is not the best.
Just tracked teh Jetblue flight from Worcester to Atlantic City. Possible new cities or service ORH-Atlantic City?
I just heard it take off, its coming back later on today (ETA 8:19). Please tell me this is a sign of things to come!
It looks like a charter because its coming from JFK (hub) to Worcester, then to Atlantic City. I wonder if anyone from JetBlue is going to check the airport out.
I'm hoping this is something positive (air service to ORH) and not just a tease i.e. jetBlue-balls!

I think it is coming back tomorrow morning. I hope I can catch it flying in. I wonder if it is more than just a charter but who knows. The airports web site still list the next charter to Atlantic City as January 18th.
Paulie that loud noise you heard was just coming from the laudramat at the next corner over at Mason & Austin. THe owner just got his quarterly Worc water bill.
Its coming tomorrow morning, not tonight like I said earlier. I'm pretty sure it's a charter.

I could ask the airport liaison to do this, but he would need to get permission from MassPort, the City Manager, the City Council, the Airport Commission, JetBlue and the Airport Director first. Oh yeah and Mr Nemeth.

Good thing is its a half day, so theres a shot I can see it take off on my bus I guess.
That's gotta be a charter to the casinos. Neither end of the flight is part of JetBlue's network. Plus, the flight numbers are unusually high (and the JFK-ORH flight number was assigned to a flight out of Martinique on Friday).
It's due back for another cycle on Wednesday. Watch for it coming in again at 8:19 a.m. and departing at 10.
Remember back in the 1980s when Polar was trying to be the exclusive US based distributor of Jianlibao , a Chinese energy drink? It was pretty cutting edge stuff and showed the vision Polar had in taking a gamble on the energy drink market way back then.

At least then we have a visual to strive for. Who is the group that is chartering the jetBLUE plane? Maybe we can convince them to also charter Southwest, Virgin America & Skybus aircraft, too ???? What a great visual THAT would be at ORH !!!

haha I would if the flight wasn't cancelled :( We had a chance to make an impression on JetBlue and what happens? Weather cancels the flight! I'm sure its going to come back at some point in the next few days, but not only most likely that I don't get to see it, but Worcester's chances at getting JetBlue most likely dropped.

I don't know if it was ORH. I think that JFK had alot of delays and cancelations. There have been other flights to and from ORH todaay and they seem to be landing and taking off.
It was for about an hour. now its coming from ACY at 415. Wonder what happened?
And if this helps anyone whos going to see it, the planes are taking off on 11 and landing on 29

i missed the landing, my mom hasnt gotten home yet. when she gets home ill take some pics of it at the jetway.
Bill, I'm very sorry to say I missed it. My mom didnt get home until a little after 5 and JUST missed it. Im sooo pissed right now, I was soo excited and now this.

With your mom's permission you should seek employment at the airport and start making some contact and networking.
