Now that the election is over, this will be the big issue over the next three months. The philosophy will be how can we expect more money from the Commonwealth when we are $12 million under the tax levy.
Council will vote to tap into the last $12 million. Dewey, looks like I will win the UNUM bet which is less then two months away. Double or nothing on this one.

We have heard Joe O'Brien elude to this for the whole election. We also heard Tracy Novick talk about this also. I understand she is school committee and doesn't set tax code, but I think O'Brien will definitely push for this. Hopefully we can get some economic development going to broaden the tax base and lower taxes for everyone.
There is an unconfirmed rumor going around Unum that they will be moving to Marlboro.
