I am now gainfully employed as a deputy tax collector.
I'll be incognito at the Hanover seeking more green for the city on March 17th, by serving papers to Hanover Theatre goers who are in arrears more than 4 grand in taxes to the city. I have dubbed this Operation Grand Opening 200 b/c my objective is collect 200 grand in back taxes to cover the 200 grand in permit fee waivers granted to the Hanover.
The audacity that city tax deadbeats can pay to attend the Hanover, yet come up dry when the quarterly tax bills arrive is morally reprehensible and will not be tolerated.
Christ almighty, they charge me a $25 dollar penalty b/c my $10 excise tax bill on the 1979 Electra is 2 days late !!!!
