This was their post on Friday. If this in fact happens, it casts some doubt on the airport administration that no mgmt company would be interested in running ORH?Breaking News

I have found out the Airport will very well hire a Management company in 1-3 months to help them make decisions and advise them, but the management company will not have complete control.....The more I hear I will post it in the blog but I understand there will be an article in the Vindicator on it today.Maybe we will bring the airlines in by then!

It’s been nearly a year since I wrote about the problems that come from
having 11 bosses who are not on the same page about anything, as well as

Of course other potential managers are interested. Who is telling you that they are not? Maybe they are just saying Massport is the best of the options...but there certainly are other options. Btw, in my opinion, there are much better options than Massport.
I have heard it said many times that no airport management company would be interested in ORH... In fact page 3 of the IMG narrative it states a
"Public/private option is not likely at this time given the current and projected operating costs of the facility, low non-aeronautical revenue generating potential and the uncertain timing of traffic growth."
Although Youngstown Warren is not losing as much money as ORH, we are quite similar. How are they able to potentially get an airport management company to run their airport???
COnsider this. Do we run the Centrum?? No!!! We hire a management company to do it... Why don't we do the same thing for ORH??
Ya. It was in the Vindicator and it may be on airport business.com this week but if not I will scan it. The thing is a lot of the decisions can be made without the management company but they can do wonders to bring airlines to town.
