Manchester to Add Boston to Name?

That's right Manchester is thinking of adding Boston to its name..

MANCHESTER, N.H. --The director of Manchester Airport says he's considering recommending the airport's name be changed to make sure distant travelers know it's close to Boston.

Kevin Dillon said Manchester-Boston Regional Airport is one possibility.
The airport bills itself as a no-hassle alternative to Boston's Logan International Airport, and Dillon said he wants to make sure distant travelers who might not know New England's geography understand the airport is close to Boston.

Kevin Dillon, MHT Director, should know - he was formerly one of the big cheeses at Logan. Nothing like good competition, I guess.

Alternatively - does Providence-Boston sound right? Or Windsor Locks-Boston, for that matter? Makes sense for Mass locations to tap into the name synergy, but the folks at MHT really need to think twice about a name like that!

well if we want Mass to have the name, Worcester is the only chance, because New Bedford has no airlines except Cape Air, and Fitchburg has no commerical jet liners there, Worcester is the only one in Massachusetts!
