When Disney World approached the State of Fla back in late 60's to build their theme park in Fla........they had the state legislature enact a law that allowed Disney to have their own Fire dept and Police dept........w/o this provision they it's possible Disney may have gone to another state with a warm winter climate
Disney Mg't clearly knew the downside of these overweight, political, patronage laden public safety depts.and that was the late 60's ......now look what these public safety dept have morphed into.........the sense of entitlement is over the top
Disney in Florida is an interesting story...WD quietly bought all that land thru straws cause he was worried about the price going up once folks knew what he was doing..he also had the foresight of expansion.
I remember sneaking into Disney back in 1982..a few buddie of mine and me drive to Florida and we stopped off in Orlando..back in 82 Disney was still quite small with all the outer land fields and bush..

All welcome as usual - can't be picky living in the neighborhood I live in..free food and free beer does the trick:>) I am planning on a New Orleans style Jazz Band for a few hours also:>)
It is Labor Day weekend-so 50% of Worcesterites will be out of town and on the Cape or at York Beach and it will be quiet here so I will have to import a crowd from outside

Super Bore is invited..he can see how nice a hood can become (livable) when the drug addicts, whores, house after house of 40 oz. drinkahs and wanna be gangstahs are booted out as well as the social service "job creators"..oops I mean "providers" are told no:>)
