It does sound like a great idea Bill. Went to the site and a $3600.00 RAISE to the taxpayer seems like a great idea.
Have a feeling though if it was passed, that $3600.00 would go to property tax increase.
New Hampshire is an example. No state tax but high property tax.
I'll take my chances though. Voting yes.
Like I have said on here before re: the city...........also applies to the state...........this BS will only end when the money runs out.........It will never end in Washington b/c they can just print more money a.k.a inflation or hyper inflation.............take a look at post WW1 Germany...a wheelbarrow of money just to buy a loaf of bread....
Take alook at the rate of spending increase in Mass since the mid 80's....... it far outpaces any structural inflation inherent in any economy.
89% of Mass legislature is Democrat...........and our Washinbgton delegation is 100% Democrat.........wait till Teddy buys the farm........maybe we can get a republican in there......unlikely however...................given that public sector employees and non profits employees basically have a lock on who gets elected in Mass most of the time
Jim McGovern is the worst thing that could ever happen to Worcester..........T&G today reports Worc will get $4.5 in Comm Dev't Block Grant money.........hopefully they have already appropriated thsi fior the low income housing already under construction......if not why cant we use it to get streets & sidewalks re paved.........in my neighborhood..........& not in the G.I.Q. 32 oz. neighborhoods......otherwise stay tuned for more low income housing construction............how many non profit builders do we need....time to let these guys compete ......and end the patronage laden, hack a rama's known as CDC's and the like.........
