Did anyone notice the two planes circling the city late morning today?? I have never seen planes like this before and they flew incredibly close to each other as they flew around the city... I saw them pass overhead twice between 11:00 AM and 11:30AM.

2 planes flying over ORH ?!?!?!? Quick!!! Call Agent Fox Mulder of the FBI !!!! UFO's are in 'da house !!
Hey Bill !!!!!!!..........you sure that it wasnt 11:00 pm and it was Art Bell and his entourage scoping out the City for Martians ??
I assume these were less than Comm. airline sized planes ??
If they were "gen'l aviation" type craft then maybe someone was doing an aerial survey of the infamoues 4.3 acres ?
Also....a rumored extension of time for the RFP ??? Not sure what this accomplishes other than saving face for another month?
Let's keep inm mind that this was MOB's big announcent that was touted after Alleg flew the coop and did I read on here that many potentail bidders attened the pre -bid meeting? And now it's rumoeded there were no bidders? Another major slap in the face which, BTW, you predicted. Reminds me of Marlboro which has held either 2 or 3 auctions to unload the old police /fire station in Main st and each time dropping the minimum bid.
Sky bridges that come at what ......50% + more than the origianl est'ed cost and apparent RFP's that cannot find a suitor. Should City be hiring professional constr. cost estimators for major projects before they issue RFPs. Who in City comes up with the figures for thses things ( with all due respect to teh fact that yes, costs do rise with time)
Oh, if they were A-10's, I remember being woken up one day last year to a couple doing touch an goes. But after about 5 passes, they left, which was strange. They may have been training pilots, who really knows for sure?

The airplanes were A-10's. They are based out of Westover. Usually they do a fly-by once or twice a year.
