Although the City Administration has recommnded Acorn as the developer, the Council still needs to vote on it. It will be interesting to see how that vote goes.

Probably get tabled for 2 weeks. See if they can squeeze a little bit more out of em??????

WPI is 100% in control of this projects destiny, IMO. And WPI aint into NOLO's. Nor is that Museum ( Worc Antiquarian??) on Salisbury st. Dittos for the old North High condo's too.

BTW, is the old boys club a Hysterical Property? I am thinking that maybe that basketball court sized running track in there is possibly analogous to an old, tattered tennis court? Dittos for the swimming pool in the basement where I used take swimming lessons in a swim suit that Barney Frank would just adore ... a.k.a. as my birthday suit.

Now Clark Univ.....they needed NOLOs so they could use Main South as a labratory for their social studies undergrads.

Would Steven Salisbury roll over in his grave if NOLOs were built bordering or fronting on Salisbury St?

AS WR,Jr would say.......Ill go out on a limb and predict zero NOLO's for that area.

So this monring I am just reading yesterdays paper for the first time and there's Guy Gloating's official announcement that he's running for state auditor...a guy who probably hasnt even taken an Assumption College's Piedmont Campus Introductory Bookkeeping course.

So in the last paragraph of the article he's quoted as saying re: this campaign:

"I've been everywhere from Lawrence to Lynn to Glouster to Cape Cod to Springfield" (BTW didnt John Olver use that "I've been everywhere theme song during his campaign(s)?)

Well last I knew, when Glodis went to Cape Cod awhile back...specifically to Corporation Beach In Dennis ....... he refused to pay the $15 parking fee to a 16 year old kid overseeing the town beach parking lot...allegedly he kept pointing to the Sheriff's Dept decal on the windowns os his state issued Black Expedition.....which resulted in the kid calling in the local constabulary and telling Carrot Top to ante up. Sorry Guy, the Worc County Sheriffs Dept just does not cut it down there in Barnstable County.

Now I ask you .......do we really need this kinda parking lot bully in a statewide position that involves examining the states spending? Time for a full audit of Mr. Glodis's track record up at the Hotel West Boylston. We'll even the light on for ya when you're back there again fulltime next December
