Bill,
As I have said before, we'll all be winners when CitySquare finally gets off the ground! No matter who buys the beer! But I'll take your bet.
I listened to City Manager O'Brien this morning with Jim Polito on WTAG. They spoke at length about the Lincoln Sq. Boys Club area and how this will be a very good project (Acorn’s proposal) for Worcester especially in conjuncture with the Gateway Park development.
Did you know that Acorn first took a look at Worcester during one of the many development meetings held in the city over the last few years? I guess outside capital really is taking a look at Woo Town.
BTW, Jim Polito never lets CM O’Brien sign off without asking about CitySquare. Mr. O’Brien alluded that not only is the CitySquare project very close to an announcement but other development projects, too.
Even though Punxsutawney Phil saw his shadow this morning, I believe Spring is right around the corner for Worcester redevelopment projects.
