Paulie and Bill and I are going to start a nice little niche business that works something like this.
There already is a nat'l data base for all obituaries of people who have died recently. Social security also somehting called the SSDI S. S. Death index andI sure there are otehr such data lists.
We are going to buy into these data files and then we are going to approach every state and municipality and sell our sevice to them. You ask, what will the service be. Well it will notify our customers who are paying any kind of monies to people (esp retirement money) that the person in question has assumed room temperature, bought the farm, and will not be down for breakfast tomorrow morning. Therefore you can stop sending them checks.
Back eons ago when i was somewhat invloved in a certainline of work that is exposed to union thuggery and pinkie ring union bosses ( no not teaching or police or fire), the company signing the paychecks would often show up on the job and hand out the paychecks only after the recipients produced verifiable 3rd party identification. Ya see sometimes the bad guys put non existent folks on the payroll and then grabbed the non existent guys paycheck and stamped it for deposit only to the account Pay to the order Jahn T. Teamster and then deposited it to their bank account often via mail...no ATMs back then. Today i could possibly "Se Cambien Cheques" outlets being used for simalar purposes
