Bill,

I believe they always do it at the first November meeting after the elections either the local or in this year's case the mid-term elections.

Jesus H Christ, where the hell have you been the last 20 years!!!!!!!!! :) Me thinks you're trying to purposefully provoke me here !!! I am going Walmart and check my blood pressure when I get doen here.

Council every YEAR claims they cannot set the rate b/c either that city assessor work is behind or the State assessment folks have not certified the aSSESSMENTS YET. This of course is all by design so the voters do not git PO'ed at the council before the early November election season. This is all a load of bovine fecal matter.

If this was the dreaded private sector, the council and the employees involved would be TERMINATED after just one season of being late. In private sector the lights would be on until midnight at city hall until the work is completed timely and no one would get paid extra for the late nights either. nOT EVEN AN 84% RAISE.

Whaddaya think about that Kate?

I'll go out on a limb here and say expect the rate to up 10% and your tax bill up maybe a 3-5%.

I have beef today (what else is new?) WTF does the T&G every election season have to print all these assinine, moronic, imbicilic, boring, mundane, self serving letters to the editor re: who the letter writer endorses for a particular office.

I means who gives a rats +ss about what my neighbor or some suburban snob thinks about 40b, Elmer Fudd, or the Dough Boy? Really !!!!!!!!!

Either save a tree and some ink or get some good natioanlly syndicated columinist to fill the space up. The baloney is getting old.

Hey I got a 40b election season letter in the mail today. Y'all suppose they sent those to the Village of Piedmont or to Great Brook Valley or to Washington Heights? Paulie, did u get one over in the VOP? Wonder if Mayor OBrien got one on his newly paveds street. Cant think of the name of it.
