Executive Director Compensation

Jahn, you ask. You shall receive. It always bothers me when a private person who invests their own money, as opposed to receiving grants from the City/State/Fed, are called flippers?

Executive Director pay needs to be in the non-profit tax return, although you need to look for it:
  1. go to attorney general website
  2. type the charity- Main South
  3. view the IRS 990 for 2007
  4. Executve Director compensation on page 20

Just went on Citizens for Enegy Return (page 26 and 27), Joe Kennedy compensation if you add all the numbers together 77,698 + 7,341 + 233,094 + 234,000 = 574,157.

Ok so The filings show that Teasdale pulls in $97,000 & the 3filng says he works 37.5 hrs per week. Not a bad haul at all.

Patton over at Worc Common Grd pulls in $67,000 if you can believe what the IRS filings shows.

SO now my question is do these guys get comp'ed in any other ways......like caaaahs.............so called stipends...etc........and of course I am sure they all get medical ins. & some kind of retirement plan. Also do they get comp'ed in any other fashion from other similar type entites... e.g. the report says "Beaver Brook Co-op" is another entity that Mr Teasdale is assoicted with......i tried to call it up on the website and there aint nuttin' there that I could fiind??

Once again, word verification here makes me think of yesterdays Tea parties "derave" . Tea parties are "De rave" lately.

Dare I ask what the qualifications of these gentlemen were prior to being hired to "CEO" what are basically real estate dev'ment & rental operations.

Does any one know?

Meanwhile if I buy a parcel, pay all the taxdes, pay all the permitting fees, fix the sidewalks if I break them, hire local contractors, invest my own money, build a duplex and sell the units (Even to people who are not low to moderate income), I am looked down as a "flipper" because I made money???

So figure 102,000 to 103,000 for 2009...

i.e. about a 2-3 % COLA annually.

Once again word verification is "compop" .... comp(op).....these coincidences are unusual

Bill I never thot to check the Hand It Over Theater (Worc Centr 4 Perforning Arts)......but I will when i get some time.......i think I already know what I am going to find.........then I am really goingt to blow a fuse........

I did check Dismas House and it appears that what Dave said (cant recall his last name ??) is true........i.e. no one there makes more than $42,000.........including Dave himself........so to my way of thinking who runs such an organization for only 42,000 annually.......esp. assuming the guy maybe has college degrees in sociology or psychology or criminolgy or what ever kinda education you need to do and be qulififed to do what he does

So i have to wonder if maybe he's also on the state payroll or maybe on MY Guy Glodis's payroll, too................or gets compensation of some sort somewhere else

There's alos something else here to this $42,000 wage for being CEO of Dismas.......and as Howie carr would say.......i have to ownder....was there a "nationwide search" involved ???????????

OMG my word verification is "SHIDY"

Gents -

thanks for asking and following up. I do have a degree from Notre Dame in English lit. the way I got the job at dismas was because I had lived at a dismas in South Bend as an undergrad for a year, and was part of the org. as an volunteer since 1992. I came to Worcester like a penniless Ben Franklin to take the job, dinner rolls shoved in each pocket.

I do occasional overnights now at my program in W. Boylston b/c of the cutbacks, but receive no additional comp, other than the fact that I get a night out away from the kids;). You'll have to take my word on that, or I can dig up my w-2s in the attic fer ye.

And for future notice its Dave McMahon, as in broke-ass-Ed McMahon, or Vince McMahon...or even jim the quarterback, or the McMahons from the recently burned Mac's diner.

I'd be curious to know what other folks are makin' keep digging gents, no offense taken, I love this blog as much as anyone else.

BTW, the coverage was rather choppy, but we did just raise enough dough to restore the heretofore trashed Banis Park on the East Side - all private money from folks like Home Depot ($61K), Randell, Saint Gobain, etc...we'll have that baby done over by July 16, hope you can make it with wrenches in hand...

You are the "real deal" so the more people look into this stuff, the more people will realize their $100 contribution to Dismas House counts.
