Airport Sale

I did not notice any revenue sharing in the press releases; for example a percentage of parking fees or a per dollar amount for each passenger or freight?    Right now when parking, passenger and freight is low at ORH, it would be a good idea to ask for this.  As ORH takes off, literally, it would provide some annual income back to the City of Worcester.

How can 2.6 million for us keeping the industrial park land be counted towards $17 million package.  Assume you have a house worth an empty lot next to it that is.  If you sell the house for $200,000 and keep the empty lot that is worth $50,000, the total sale package is not $250,000.   The sale package is $200,000 and you kept the empty lot.

It appears to me that the true number is 14.4 million and we were able to keep the Industrial Park land.

This the most loused up re-cap & reporting of a major capital transaction I have ever seen.

Either T&G and or the city has to present this is clearer, more concise, detailed format. Transparency please

$5M for future retiree pensions and medical insuarance.......MMMMMM.......I wonder if the $5M will be set aside in a separate bank acct and left there until needed. Fat chance of that....since when has the city ever currently funded its future retireees benefits?

I am still not sure how much of a check Massport will write the city on June 30th??

I believe there may have been a prohibition on selling off the industrial park. That prohibition will be lifted, so the city is free to sell the $2.6 million parcel to a CDC for $2

?...sell it for two dollars or two million dollars to a CDC?

JSF that raises a qustionm that i often ondered about. Community Dev'ment corps.........are they allowed to build commercila property?

Of course I advocate they be neutered as builders of anything, but that being said, they would do a hell of a lot less damge to Worc if they built comm. vs. residential property

And you specultat ethey' d pay $2m for a property worth $2.6M. Sorry, thats not quite how it works. They would get if for $1.00 and hopefully they wouldnt pull a Pharamsphere in the process and just sit on it like a chicken sitting on its eggs.

I happpened to see that Nadeau Drive in the S Worc Industrial Park is substantially complete...can Pharamsphere be far behind with their pot growing technologies?
