My vote is for West Palm. I go there every year to vist my dad. Big population of Worcester residents vacation there. I would like some daily service to a hub too.
If they do drop Sanford and only add Melbourne, they are not really increasing their Florida service. In recent radio interviews, Ed Warnick hinted strongly that they will be adding service to additional cities. Cities being plural.
I personally hope they keep Sanford and add both of the other destinations you mention and bring activity to the airport on additional days during the week.
Don't see Allegiant coming back if only for the reason it would conflict w/ Direct Air's Florida routes.
If Allegiant had other destinations...maybe, but Direct Air has proven loyal to the airport/Massport and they would not allow Allegiant back unless other destinations other than Florida were offered
