Truer words could not be spoken. A Chamber of Commerce that supports 1) the taxation of larger apartment buildings commercially not residentially and 2) supports a smoking ordinance because it only hurts the larger chains is not the message the Chamber of Commerce should be sending out to businesses consdiering coming to Worcester.

It was the chamber who pushed for 50% window coverage for signs...which can advertise cigarettes...as jahn said just make bigger windows...I mentioned the Hadley building how if they covered 50% of the windows what would we accomplish? Just think the council had a chance to limit window coverage on signs which would cut down advertising cigarettes... They just don't think...even Hope backed 50%. Don't get it....don't see how they will ode again they keep making new rules and don't enforce the ones they have
