Surveillane Cameras

In the enwspaper today there is a picture of three kids, who were arrested for the double murder this past week-end.  In the story, it mentioned how the surveillance cameras helped the police.  I can not tell you how helpful these are for neighborhoods.

The City should do all they can to secure monies (Weed & Seed??) to install these wherever they can and have a dedicated person, or hire someone, that is able to go into stores reveiw cameras and burn videos.  In th Chandler NRSA, we have invested 15,000 inot cameras.  Check out EVO:

Where Worc really needs Surv. cameras is on the city treasury, where the taxpayers are legally getting robbed daily. Forget theonline checkbook and never forget teh city has multiple chaeckbooks so putting just one online is less than full online disclosure.and speakign of less than full disclosure......

Tuned in to Polito thsi morning . Caught the last 1/2 of the CM's weekly Tuesday Morning gig. Topic: Clark Pilot Payment. Like I said I tuned in about 745am which I think is 1/2 way through it. During that time the CM touts all the wonderful happenings with C's Pilot payment $$$$, including the city can leverage to borrow $$$$ to improve the University Park area. (Thought that was Called Crystal Park?)

I heard no mention of the 22 properties C will move FROM TAXABLE STATUS TO non taxable status....costing the city 162,000 in lost tax revenue Maybe THE cm DID MENTION it IN THE 1st 15 mins of his chat? Anyone catch the entire thing?

Hey Bill, how about you, a tax payign Worc business, make a an annual PIlot Payment to the city and in excahnge the city will let convert some of your holdings to tax exempt status and the Pilot ppayment u make will be used to Spruce up railroad track area near you ...and it more EZ on the eyes. Maybe some fencing and shubbery to mitigate the uglineess of the RR?

Afteralll, whats good for tax exempt colleges ,surely sb even better for the people who actually pay the taxes in Worc. Hey Maybe they'll even close some os th street sidewalk area under the guise that it is dangerous b/c of terh topography there. Thats actaully what CM said this morning about one of the reasons for handing over 200 ft of Downing St to C. Look for C. to eventually make a circular driveway out of Downing St and Charlotte St (or Shirley St) someday. Then when High school seniors come to tour the campus they'll be directed to access the campus via Park Ave vs the Main St side.

<<<<Wonders, does Clarks immediate area have any Yellow BOxes for needle disposal? After all these liberals at Clark are always worried about the good of all the druggies and society at large. Betcha they dont have em anywhere near their campus.

The terms Weed & Seed to me just conjure up images of zonked out stoners chillin' at Crystal park, the closed PIP, or on the Common :).

Dammit.... I woulda liked to have watched McGovern squirm and sweat there at Clark last night when redistricting was being discussed....and what is this I hear about a Jim McGovern hunger strike?? Must be slimming down for ole Seagull Beach in South Yarmouth this summer. NO Yarmouth House Restaurant or Capt Parkers or Clanceys for Jim thsi summer, I guess. Oppps Clanceys closed in W Yarmouth.......re opened under new name
