Bill we got give em 8 hrs (?) after the snow ends and I think it ended about mid day..and this assumes the city will adhere to their own snow shoveling ordinance from which they are legally exempt Of course yesterdays ( 1-2) storm ended about 24 hours ago. i wonder if it was shoveled out from that storm w/in the requisite 8 hr(?) time frame?.

Also who owns that old factory building along the east side of Hollis st.......is that part of the old Crompton & KNowles which i think the city owns.......it wasnt shoeveled either when i drove by about 400 or so. I see the old foundry has been carted away........thank god that was deemed convertible to housing.

Per T&G, Off topic for this thread, but JOB our new mayor will take the bus to his inauguration at the trade school.......all in consideration of his carbon footprint.........

Bill, I hate to pick an argument w/ya on the 1st Monday workday of the new year ........but if you think this new mayor is going to work with the likes of Worc's business community and property owners.....well you get the jist of what I am driving at....I think you're off base..when the biggest thing JOB is worried about appears to carbon emissions

Buses will also be availblae to bus people who wish to attendd the inauguration up to trade schoool from city hall plaza.

So to keep the carbon footprint down we'll run add'l city buses up Bell Hill (steep hill plus heavy vehicle = lotsa fuel usuage)..........when all the guy had has to do is have the inauguration at city hall where lotsa buses already run too................additionally why not have the inauguration on the newly enhanced common right smack in the middle of the new non skating rink.......in the dead cold of January........rather having to waste add'l eneergy to heat teh trade scholl audatorium.....the common is a nice sight to behold in the dead of winter.........as longs as Paulies Pajama Peeps have been rousted off tt the PIP shelter............plus having in the skating would send a good message as to exactly where the new council is going with our new Carbom mayor.........in circles for 2 more years, wasting carbon and not adressing the real issues.....like the city is so bankrupt it is pitiable.....
