Southgate Place Rents

1 bedroom        766 to 853 rent        30% to 60% AMI
2 bedroom        932 to 1025 rent        30%, 50%  and 60% AMI
3  bedroom       1,109 to 1,233          50  and 60% AMI

These are high!!!   Work-force housing?? The only ones who can afford these rents are people receiving subsidized housing...

It's not about the rents Bill, it's the votes for Liberal Dems that count. Who cares if the renters use up more and more of our resources while middle class familes flee the city and the state in droves. Not our wonderful Democratic Leadership who only see the votes these units will hold...

Who was the congressman from NYC who was complaining about the ............"rent's too God dam high"?

I'll tell whats too GD high...... If one looks at city real estate taxes ,which are really rent that a property owner is mandated to pay the city...they are really rent paid for access to mandated monopolistic services.......monopolistic water service from the city.....monopolistic sewer service from the city....monopolistic fire protection services from the city......monopolistic trash services.......the list is endless..ooh sure one can opt out. but you still gotta pay....

and now Mayor Obie wants to mandate firefighters be allowed to inject drug addicts with some kinda drug..........was it Narcan?.....can you say ..."we need a stipend b4 we'll admister that drug"........didnt we have a similar debate about de- fibrillators when Tom was the city CEO?

I can just see a constr company buying a new piece of equipment..say a bulldozer........and the heavy equipment operator saying..."Ill need a stipend if you also expect me to also operate the new Cat D-7 dozer in addition to my other regular duties.............priceless
