So I often asked here why the Blackstone Valley Visitors Center wasnt planned as part of the Canal District. Maybe now it will be..altho on the other hand brick structures can often with stand a fire better than a woodframed wall structure.
I am again wondering what is going on with the North Lake Quinsig area. First teh Corridor Park idea is put forth. Then the shoreline conveniently starts sinking even more/faster than in the past. Then I read stories about some kinda huge landmark type Rte 9 bridge over the lake. Christ they just replaced the bridge deck there in 1984-85. Bridge deck s/b good for 40+ years. Are the underpinnings also shot now, too?
