Blogger Retreat

How could I resist??? I will open Pandora's box. Where should we have the retreat?

Here are my suggestions:

  1. Airport
  2. Proposed home of the Blackstone Visitors Center
  3. Pharmasphere at the South Worcester Industrial Park
  4. UNUM's new site at City Square
  5. Southgate Place at former home of City Builders
  6. Cambridge and Hacker housing project
  7. Winfield Mason Project
  8. Wyman Gordon Parcel
  9. Gardner Kilby Hammond and we can burn $9 million in monopoly money to stay warm

Can't wait to read these comments

I've tried getting a decent picture of the caved in shed, Jahn, but I think I need some aerial photography to really capture the mood...

And forget the retreats... someone should organize a Worcester Voter Drive Through, with a route that takes everyone over the bumpiest sections of road in the city. (Of course, all you'd really have to do is drive aimlessly to get the same effect.)

Maybe the retreat would be better, after all, now that I think about it... Say, maybe just outside the City Council Chamber on a Tuesday evening?

How about old VIP lounge.. The old Metro on Chandler...wher Stop and Shop was going...They should ask all the businesses who left Worcester to come and what it would take to get them back..

Word on the street is that Unum and City Square are at an impasse. Anyone else know different?

Dave Zimage told me right before his cousin, whose name Dave will not reveal, shot him with a substance, that he was not sure what it was since he is so young, that all is well with UNUM and City Square.

Anything good to read in the Telegram today?

Signman the old Metro would be good. I believe that was the old Harrington & Richardson ( former gun factory at that site) Test firing range that was converted to roller skating rink with booze?? a.k.a. as Le Jardin ???....operated by a former Worc nightclub Entrepeneur who shall remain nameless

The council could just continue to go in circles.

They need to get out of town just to make hard decisions.....truly crazy

And word on the street is that Konnie & Rick Rushton have finally kissed and made up. LOL

As for any rumored impasse, complex negotiations such as this are always going to encounter some bumps along the road. Trust me UNUM at City Square will get done! Along with the Massport takeover at ORH, could things finally be turning the corner in the Heart of the Commonwealth!
