Why not connecting flights in NY (JFK)? That way we could fly anywhere with JetBlue from Worcester!!
Primary non-stop destinations out of ORH in my opinion would be: Orlando, Fort Lauderdale, Fort Myers, New York, Las Vegas, San Juan... Planes would be full...
I don't have a Twitter account but I do have two homes. One in MA (18 min. to ORH) and one in FL (38 min.from TPA). We travel back and forth frequently and would love to see JetBlue fly from TPA to ORH and TPA to ORH. I think flights would be easier scheduled (because of fog, etc) if a plane was left at ORH overnight. I think it is easier to take off with low visibility than to get clearance to land in low visibility. I'm not sure if that's true but, if it is, than an overnight might help that situation.
Having spent the past week here in Fort Myers, and having been to Jet Blue Park for baseball this week, I can tell you Fort Myers will likely be a destination. Fenway South is a tremendous facility and Red Sox fans will flock there for spring training. Direct flights to Fort Myers will be key to getting folks to the area.
With all this talk about Jet Blue, can we try to hammer them for a rough eta?
Lately I've been trying to learn as much as I can about ORH, and the material I read seemed to indicate that Jet Blue is interested in ORH because MassPort put it on their plate. However, it did not sound like they were moving in anytime soon. It seemed like they were far more interested in Logan's Terminal A and Providence airport and were planning on waiting on Worcester a bit until improvements were made.
I would be ecstatic to hear them announce this winter, but I have my reservations. Here's to hoping they announce something soon!

I disagree, I think Sarasota is more appealing, as it is smaller and more convienant.
