Showed up a little late, but the place was packed and everyone said Kate did a great job with her speech. Based on the mood and the momentum I saw, don't expect Kate to back out of this Mayoral race.

"great job with her speech". Well, the majority of people there were her hanger-on's right, so why would they criticize her speech? Even if she was a deaf and dumb, they would criticize her right?
"back out of this..." Since she was announcing her candidacy for mayor, it makes no sense to say she would "back out".
Excuse me for being picky, but sometimes you write illogical posts. You went to college right?
Chris...I wanted to go but could not because of a business committment in Harwich last night.
I am not in Kate's camp or any mayoral candidates camp as of yet until I hear them all address issues that concern me...and hopefully after a few debates I will be able to come to a solid decision...this is part of the problem today..folks assume cause you have a pic taken with a Pol, invite them to an event...have a sit down that one is connected..it means for many of us that we are taking the time to make an informed decision on our representitives....and what do you expect from a BC grad for crying out loud!
I'm implying he "just" went to college and didn't learn anything. Which when you read his posts you get the impression he's not a able to formulate a coherent post - syntax and grammar are incorrect.
"Attended" also implies that he was present but having learned nothing.

Chris:
There were several people there that I talked to who were not in her "camp", who told me she nailed it..
I have also heard the rumor that she may pull out of the race like Councilor Rosen. She is definately in and seems to be on the right track.
That was what I was trying to say.

should it not be: "you attended college" not "you went to college"?
Kate's husband is a BC grad.
