Neighborhood Stabilization Funds

I hope that a City Councilor asks for monthly reports on these funds to track who gets these funds. My bet is that very few private investors or new home-owners receive these funds. Monies will go mainly to the CDC's or companies like Winn.

Can you say ACORN

City gives all teh favored players $$$$$.

I can show documented proof (rEGISTRY dEEDS)that Home Funds ARE HANDED in excess of teh maximum amts allowed per the bid contract.......to certain entites that i consider favored players in Worc' rush to become a ghetto wasteland with 30%+ low income housing.

If I worked at Nortons, would I put a bench in front of the greendale factory depicting a Norton worker sitting on his ass?

Kinda sends the wrong message when Norton Stockholders drive by...wouldnt ya think??

Anyone see todays T&G (9-28) piece on city niusance inpsector(s). So what do these guys do when all teh nuisnaces are covered with snow............including all teh city unshovled sidewalks?

And the guy is queried: "So how did you get this job"......LOL......gimme a break...City of worc = 5000 employees ( 600 out injured on duty??) and only 7 last names amongst them all. Most incest than Appalachia???

Y'all suppose he's ever driven by any city pools (Holmes Field) or any city salt sheds (Clark St) Gotta have blinders on not to see the crumbling structures.

Opppppppps i forgot, city aint subject to the Nuisance ordinace........just like Congress will not be covered by Nobama health care. What a charade/joke.

and hey ....Happy Monday Mornign to all.

When in blogger rehab I was told I complain too much....sorry........just the facts here folks.

NRSA is suppose to be given out in small amounts, unless you are the Main South CDC and are building a new large low-mod income project (93 Grand St).

The NRSA targets current property owners to help them with things like windows, siding, roofings. Throughout the City it can go to owner-occupied and non-owner occcupied home-owners except in South Worcester. It has to go to owner-occupied. Numebrs are smaller in the 15,000 or less range per house.

The Neighborhood Stabilization targets empty houses owned by banks trough foreclosure and will be much larger per project.
