Two things worth pointing out (maybe).

1. All 14k comes from individual donors (and their families) who work for Winn. Probably not a coincidence, but employees do have a right to make political contributions and an obligation to report their employer.

2. Would the donations be viewed as problematic if the donations came from a corporation you were a fan of?

3. Totally unrelated but your new header image from the WoMag story look exactly like, but yet is the complete opposite of, the intro to Reservoir Dogs. I vote for Paulie as Mr. Pink.

And the largest donor (18K) is also a real est. dev'ment firm.

Maybe they play ball in the Fall River area which is also a huge part of McGoverns gerrymandered district that has great NOLO possibilities...or maybe they are eyeing the old Crompton Knowles complex???

I'd be curious to know how our Local CDC's pony up for Havana Jim.

I'd also be curious to see what they pony up for the Worcester city councilors. Illegal sewer lines that trespass over private property are quite expensive from what I have been told.

Next blog topic up for discussion s/b Lady Di's column of today (1-24).
