Panera Bread

New business on Gold Star in the Harr showcase on the corner of GoldStar and the driveway to Home Depot across from Crown Bakery.

Rumor has it that the water and sewer connection was 40,000?

Bill, have you thought about keeping an eye out for the sewer hookup fee for the Hand It Over Theatre Restaurant assuming they ever build it.

Dittos for any restaurant that goes into Sh Booms old site on Worc Cntr Blvd.

Do we know what the Hadley Blding paid (if any) for a sewer hook up fee? Converting a furniture store to 40 apts certainy introduces 200x times the inflow to city sewer infrastructure

I wonder how that fee is determined for restaurants? Number of seats? Imagine if it's based on beer consumed on the premises and they serve Guiness and Paulie frequents the place [g]

I just read the T&G that online right now ....800pm tuesday...

The annual January standing headline is out ther right.......Snow budget under water already. This headline is more predictable than Mr Chernisky's quarterly op-ed about Paulies Ghetto Pajama People. BTW, I have noticed a marked increase the last few weeks of People wearing shorts and thsi is esp. so at the gas stations and conv. stores I frequent. Maybe they are getting ready for next summers Lakeside Housing Project Re-union or the big downtown ho down on the 3rd weekend of August or maybe NOLA Fest 2010? [g]

Dare I ask, if the city powers to be cannot properly budget snow plowing & removal from year to year, then how in Gods name will they ever be able to fiscally manage a city of 175,000 people?

City of Worcester state receivership...........coming circa 2014.

Gee ... a business with a presence at White City in Shrewsbury is expanding to the Greendale section of Worcester. All of a sudden my idea to open a Trader Joe's at the old Marshall's site at the Greendale Mall isn't looking so ridiculous all of a sudden, eh?!

...and a Whole Foods at the Best Buy location!
