Whatever happened to Metro-West Boston whatever airport?? Tell JetBlue they come to ORH and we will call it JetBlue airport guaranteed for the next 5 years!!!
This is what we had hoped would happen when MassPort took over last July 1st. Let's do everything possible to make sure it does become a reality.

Bill,
There was a business brief in today’s T&G about this interest from JetBlue. Here is the link - http://www.telegram.com/article/20110923/DIGESTS/109239811
I know I’m a “glass half-full kind of guy” but I wouldn’t get too excited about this with comments such as one from the article,
“JetBlue Chief Executive David Barger met with reporters yesterday after a speech in Boston. He was quoted by The Boston Globe as agreeing to take a look at Worcester but said the airport needed passenger access and navigational aid upgrades.”
We need better airport access before there is any real interest. And why has Massport still dropped the ball on signage to/from the airport? At the very least, they should greatly improve all signage, agree upon one preferred route to the airport, and promote the “hell” out of it. Are you listening Massport?
Dave
This is not a done deal by no means, but it is the start we have been looking for.
