30 million dollar contract awarded to William A Berry & Sons of Danvers. Do any Worcester contractors ever get any bids for public construction projects in Worcester?

I wonder what ever became of the idea of siting the state crime lab at a site on the Worc/ W Bolyston line where the I- 190 off ramp is???????...right next to Mass State police most popular pizza & subs eatery
The idea was to get it in Central Mass and this was a few years ago. Do we know if they ever built it somewhere else?
If it was not built, maybe Murray can get it for Worc before he Coupe Deval meters expire up their on Beacon Hill.
Another possible site might be Central Worcester. Is the old Mart site still empty. Might as well build it where all the crime happens???????
Mid afternoon today (Deec 17) there were Fox TV and Channel 5(?) transmitting trucks parked.........RIGHT ON TEH TRAFFIc ISLAND where Plantation St Meets Belmont st..............what was and may still be (?) the most dangerous intersection in the city. I passed by it twice......once about 300pm amd agian at about 415 pm.
Now dont try to tell me that no cop cars passde by there in that hour. Why is this baloney allowed? That intersection is deemed a multiple ambulance intersection and when you add in teh volume of traffic it hamdles...there is no way in hell that 2 large cube van type trucks s/b be allowed to block the line of sight there.
If I ever parked there Pat's Towing would be $125 richer. Talk about more double standards.
