Allegiant Adds Chattanooga

Since Allegiant has pulled out of ORH, they have:

  • started service out of W Virginia
  • started service ouf of S Carolina
  • keep, although reduced service to Portsmouth
  • added flights out of Newburgh, NY
  • has not stopped service to any other city
  • starting service to Tennessee (note below)
Low-cost airline Allegiant Air today unveiled plans for nonstop jet service between Chattanooga and Orlando Sanford International Airport starting Oct. 31.The Las Vegas-based carrier will fly once a day, four days a week — Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday — on 150-seat jets, officials said. Flights will depart Chattanooga Metropolitan Airport at 10:15 a.m. and arrive in Orlando at 11:50 a.m. Leaving Orlando, flights will depart at 8:00 a.m. and arrive in Chattanooga at 9:40 a.m.
