What "kills" me is, "why didn't the T&G pump this up?" That is, Worcester being featured on Chronicle. In the old days (yes, I'm dating myself), the former Worcester Telegram and the Evening Gazette would have been all over this, promoting Chronicle and the city.
And where are the PR honchos for the city? Our chamber of commerce, etc.
And to keep this on topic, I don't necessarily believe that the lack of a major airport is what has held us back in and of it’s self. What has held us back more than anything is the prevailing thinking that the West Siders know what’s best for the urban core. And for the most part, they have no clue.
I actually called Jahn at his casa just to check and make sure he was o'kay... Told me he was taking it easy this summer and was drying out from the blogs akin to an alcoholic at Adcare.
He promised to be back with a vengence soon and said for your sake, he hopes that the UNUM deal is signed.
