Another sign of teh continued demise of Worc's housing policies and the canine demographics it begets.
Worc Animal Rescue League has 10 dogs up for adoption....8 of them are Pitbulls and from what Ican see many have been there for months.
It's too bad b/c these folks at WARL do a thankless job ..... often as unpaid voluteers...but what can they do when the Animal Control officers have to bring dogs captured in the city to the WARL
I have a good pic of Buddy up on my blog today..he is getting older and getting up on the couch is getting harder so I bought him a small bed for the office and a big one for my flat where I live...the pic on the blog is in my office
David, the dogs all have a "bio" sheet hanging on their cage.
The folks there tell me that when it says "ACO"......that's a dog brought in by Worc Animal Control (ACO)..........now a part of the Worc Police Dept..........for whatever reason????...prob b/c they can get early retirement "bonus years" for being considered cops...a.k.a..... as public safety officers....plus police dept pay scales going forward
FWIW I Have also seen ACO dogs that are not pitbulls...but they are the exception
I agree my posting has nothing to do with the NECN's coverage.....completely off topic....unless of course one thinks of Martha's campaign this last week as analogous to a rabid pitbull attack..........from a dog who has just opened its eyes from a deep sleep.....just kidding.[g].
So David Z ,are we in agreement that Scotts our man........I would like to be on the same page with you on a few things.
Yore a gud man their David. David, you dont want me running four office. Ever hear of Jahn the Dictator? We may even have a dictator soon here in Worcester, when the city goes into receivership.....circa 2014...when the Stimulus dinero goes away
Did I hear Rush correctly today....he said the turnout at the Auditorium steps this past weekend was only about 150 people..........and Kerry, McGovern, Murray, and Joe Brien were all there. They say O'brien had a kinda stunned look on his face. He did ride his bicycle there...right?
Man, I'd love to Havana Jim McGovern run outta town on a rail this Nov.....

And you know for a fact that these dogs all came from Worcester?
And what does that have to do with NECN's coverage of the Worcester rally which I thought was very good.

If I could I would vote for you Jahn but seeing you're not on the ballot, yes I'm supporting Scott Brown.
