Projects

Which project will get off the ground first?

A) Pharmasphere
B) Mason Street low income project
C) City Builders low income project
D) UNUM lease at City Square

Yep, that's right going on month 25 after the award to Pharmasphere for $1 and they have yet to take title.

I think item D. should really be demolition at City Sq. and not just signing of a lease. As always JMHO. We did afterall have an agreement in principle going back to last October. Trick or treat!

So..........when will you be wetting your whistle on DZ's dime?

Wowee, 4:32PM friday afternnon and someone is really all full of ++++ & vinegar. You go Paulie boy !!!!!!!

I have made 2 trips this winter passed Main South property that is owed by a certain Main South public safety advocate. Small little parcel...i am guessing maybe 40 feet of sidewalk. I have yet to see it shoveled this winter season. Dittos for last winter season.

There is also another major city bigwig who is in the same boat as the above person for the last 2 wintahs.

Consider me sick and GOD DAM ++++ing tired of hearing from our city fathers how I am supposed to be responsible for my property and the citys sidewalks to boot and all the plugged in players in town just thumb their collective noses at ordinances that some of them in fact voted into law and that some of them are charged with enforcing.

And while I am blowing off a little steam here, let me tell some of these IDIOT gov't employess that i see posting on T&G blogs complaining about colleges not paying their fair share of taxes or PILOTS or whatever u wanna call it....vig......tribute......"protection" money. YOu folks s/b on your knees thanking the colleges in this city b/c w/o them Worcrster would be a Lawrence or a Holyoke or a Lynn. Please smarten up and realize what side your bread is buttered on.

Did anyone realize that the West Boylston MD's closed and there is a new restaurant going in there called Il Forno(?) I think there maybe one up in Fitchburg, too??

So Hanover Ins keeps stepping up to teh plate for teh city of Worester. Hanover Theatre, Hanover Tornadoes Park, now City Sq. financier or outright owner. So now I am asking myself......in the long run what is Hanover looking for in return from Worcester besides the free parking garage they will get if they buyout the City Sq project.

So...........did the union labor requirement finally drive Berkeley outta town.........Amen to McGovern, Murray, and possibly JOB.
