These hedge funds & highly speculative financial houses gotta be reigned in and white collar crime of the magnitude we've seen these last few years s/b life in prison.
I knock over a 7-11 for $350 with a weapon and I get 15 years.
Another guy steals $6M from his employer (for example) and gets 5 years............now to me that aint a bad pay day for a mere 5yr. sacrifice....and this example actually happened in the greater Worc area 15-20 yrs ago.
Then look at city councilor Chuck Turner in Bawstin who gets what 9 yrs for grabbin a few thousand, then Teirneys wife gets 6 months home confinement for allegedly aiding and abetting an $8M money laundering scheme.
