Apple Computer

In Boston on Sunday bought an MAC computer for the house from the Boston Apple Store. So far I got to say the price was great and the ease of use is pretty unbelievable and the set-up is ridiculously easy.

Honestly I think you need to buy Apple stuff from their stores???

There may be one in Natick, but I don't think I could have bought one locally??

Could be wrong.

I know software engineers who work in the greater boston area for some big name softwar co's.............all they will use is Apple...........i get the impression that Windows is more less the Chevrolet of software...........i.e. cheap and everyone drives one.......

Myself i dont like playing with new applications so i just stick with wahts worked OK for me in the past......

OK david my fine feathered amigo .....you asked for on another blog topic..........so here goes.........., I am kind alike the fire dept......i dont like change.......even tho structure fires are are down 90% in Worc in 10 yrs......they still wanna be able to practice the "holy Grail" of being a ff'er. i.e. spend the majority of their time on their gluteous maximus........while there is so much safety related work to be done throughout the city.......

Yesterday I saw a huge fire truck parked in Hallooween Outlet masquerading as an Ambulance.....What a joke......whilst the Umass EMT's serviced what appeared to be a patron of a nearby gin mill.......probably got an LSD ice cube in his drink [g]......what would Timothy Leary say?

David...why dont the FF'er pick up the debris left behind from auto accidents.......they do have dumpsters at teh fire barns right???........and please dont ell me it's not in the contract.......leaving broken shaprp edged accidenat debris all over an ice covered sidewalk.....great fro safety huh.......i suppose they want a weekly stiend for that sorry but.... what a ++++ing joke.!!!!!!

and why today did I see the DPW nuisance truck loaded with yellow trash bags?.....i can think of a few poss. plausible explanantiosn...i can also think of a few other explanations that i dont like.....

HOLY ++++ I am thinking Worc Reeal est.tax bills are due any day now may be even tomorrow .12-31.........anyone taken a look at what they owe for the next 2 qters........these SOB's really low balled AUG & NOV 2009 estimated bills.............many people are looking at FEB & MAY 2010 bills that are double the previous 2 qters estimates..

people are going to be BS.....they purposely kept they AUG & NOV 2009 estimated bills low b/c it was a council election year........

I foresee lotsa angry people...... .esp geeeezers calling Levy and making lotsa noise about this and I am talking only residential bills.

OUCH !!!!!!!!

Ben..the Apple Store on Boylston Street is quite an experience if you are into computers...just as is shopping and dining on the entire street...buying a Apple Computer if you could at Best Buy and buying one on Boylston is the difference between spending a weekend at Indian Lake and spending a weekend in Bermuda..having cabana gals serving you drinks all weekend long

Paulie makes an excellent analogy...

Methinks Bill is talking out of both sides. Many times, I've read his rants about Worcester people flocking to NH to buy cig's, beer, etc. and not supporting local merchants. I guess I don't get it. Probably more like Worcester people don't support Worcester at all. The Mall failed twice and now Greendale is failing. The Airport probably will always remain "secondary". Attendance is way down at both Sharks and Tornadoes. It frosts me when Holden citizens complain about our dual tax rate.
Worcester will remain a "cemetary with lights"
I was hoping this was going to be a NEW Year.
