why couldn't we get an airline like Allegiant?
we did and we blew it
My only consolation that I had, when Allegiant pulled out of Worcester in September of 2006 was that we had, at least established that fact there was a demand at ORH. Allegiant left because they were not profitable, but nobody could not deny that the passenger loads were between 80-85 percent.
At the time Allegiant left and when major announcements were promised, I actually thought there would be "major announcements" coming last fall. It has been almost one year since the last commercial flight left ORH and there is still no "major announcements"?
I hate to say it, but not only did we blow it with Allegiant, we may have scared away potential carriers with their "major announcements" when Allegiant left.
