One of the things that caught my eye from the article is:
“I can assure you we’re very, very committed to you and the region,” he said. “We have a three-airport strategy for this part of the country.” That includes Green, Logan and Manchester-Boston Regional Airport in New Hampshire. “We don’t want people from Rhode Island going out of state to fly from Boston Logan. That’s not good for you, and that’s not good for us. We’re very excited about our future here in Rhode Island.”
A three-airport strategy for this part of the country. No mention of Worcester Regional Airport and a four-airport strategy.
I understand that was Southwest but I would like to see any additional airline(s) at Worcester Regional Airport. And I would like MassPort to start promoting a 4-airport strategy once they have officially taken over operations.

Harry,
I understand that was Southwest but I would like to see any additional airline(s) at Worcester Regional Airport. And I would like MassPort to start promoting a 4-airport strategy once they have officially taken over operations.
Let's hope they do.
