- Our liquor store was robbed at gunpoint
- There was a guy holed up in his apartment after stabbing another guy on Canterbury Street someone else this past Sunday
- A friend of mine, who lives off June Street, caught two people inside his house after coming home from his bar tending job at 2 in the morning
- Another incident that I can not tell here
All four cases the Worcester Police have done a great job. Since I highly doubt there will be a story in the Telegram soon complimenting the WPD. Let me say here that when you are in trouble and need help, the WPD does a great job. KUDOS to the WPD!!!!

DPW deserves an ATTA BOY too for their work of late. Granted things aint perfect, but conditions whis wintaaaah have been hoorendous. Keep in mind teh diff. between WPD AND DPW are merely transposed intials.
WFD deserves a spanking for not cleaning out ALL hydrants.

Mayor JOB wants to convert under sized vacant city lots to gardens..........more work for an already overburdened DPW?....color me skeptical.......
How about this Mayor Jose':
a. find out why MAin South CDC never build teh community garden they contracted with the Non Executing Office of Nayborehoods to build back in Sept 2005? The 6th Anniversary of this non build out is coming in Sept, 2011.
b. if we're going to do this what better use for Mason St site than a community garden...one huge site where everyone can have their own p(l)ot...............to grow whatever they want??? Who needs Pharashprere to grow weed on Canterbury St when our Piedmont villaged folks can grow it for us on Mason St?
Think about it...........the city cant get a 5,000 sq ft comminuty garden built on Ripley St (I think it was?) in 5 1/2 years............small wonder City Sq is so stuck in a time warp?????
