Remember this parcel was awarded in the South Worcester Industrial park for $1 versus an abutting who offered $50,000. The reason being it was a better project and that they would break ground immediately, that being March of 2008. It is now May of 2010 and the winning bidder has yet to lay down their $1 and take title.
Great news if it happens, but I am still waiting for March, 2006 City Sq demolition undertaking.
Also still waiting for that new restaurant at the airport as well all the new signage that was to be erected.
Dittos for the name change to Boston-Metro airport.
I am also still waiting for properties that were auctioned off in April, 2005 and awarded in June, 2005 to have the req'd low income housing erected on such properties. Bid req'd constr to commence w/in 90 days of transfer of these properties.
Add Devals property tax cut to my waiting list. Things happen faster at the RMV than they do in Worcester.
I am told patience is a virtue. Please considre me a very virtuous person....contrary to what any pictures might say about me.
