Blog Interview #4

Although I was leaning towards Mr Nemeth to clear the air on ORH and remove the "shroud of secrecy", Michael Bolton (not the singer or the character in the movie Office Space)--the Airport Director at Westover is a great suggestion. I will send him an e-mail.

If he agrees I will e-mail 4 or 5 questions, any suggestions would be welcome, which he will reply in writing and then be posted here.

I am not too sure that our competition is going to let us in on their recipe for success.

WOW !!!!!!!I made Logan this morning round trip in 1hr 58 mins and I was only going 60-65 on way in and 60 - 70 on way home and i got sidetracked at logan for a couple mins too. Left at 545am.

I wanted to stop inside Logan and watch the planes fly in and out.....but there's no place to do that....as I found out from a statie who was sitting doing exactly that.

As entered & exited Loagan i though to myself.................wow how can we ever compete with this?........

Just think folks, even if we got 3 or 4 commercial flights a day out of ORH......is that anywhere near enough to make us successflu and kepp us ORH deficit free?

Jahn, I don't know if you're familiar with Logan or not, but if not, then there's several places to watch planes coming in and out on the premises - though you have to park your car to get to them without getting towed:
-Top level of the Terminal B parking lot
-Skyway between Terminal A and the parking garage
-Concessions area in Terminal C
-Kids play area in Terminal C
Off site areas would include Castle Island, Shirley Point/Deer Island, Constitution Beach, and UMass Boston.
