Target areas and/or specific buildings for commercial development while offering:
- waive all permitting fees
- waive all water and sewer hook-ups
- freeze assesed valuess for 10 years
If the City of Worcester did this, developers would be attracted to the City of Worcester, increase the commercial tax base and bring us closer to the day where we will again have one tax rate.

IMO opinion we need better roads..............build a 146/Pike/290 connector .......we get a new Walmart and Milbury gets a new Mall ..........
Just watch the dev'ment that will now take place in that area.
Rte 20 strip will be next once it is sewered.
Road Growth always = econ growth.
I hate to say it.... but one thing Worc could hope for is $6/gal gas.........b/c all of a sudden commuting is going to get very, very, expensive
