Not to copy Jahn, but should we not be hearing something on this soon???
By the way the demo of the Standard Foundry in the South Worcester Industrial Park (SWIP) is progressing nicely.

It’s been nearly a year since I wrote about the problems that come from
having 11 bosses who are not on the same page about anything, as well as

Bill,
Speaking of Jahn, where has he been? Did he pull up stakes and move to Somerville? He seemed to be visiting there quite a bit so I figured maybe he was house hunting.
As for the demo, the only thing I can say is "no news is good news". I think if there was any hiccups with the project, news would have leaked out by now especially with UNUM wanting to be in a new building sooner rather than later.
I’m looking forward to collecting that beer.
The last word regarding when Unum would be signing on the dotted line was from Chris Collins, Sr VP and general counsel of Unum, at the June 16th City Council meeting where he said it would be by July 24th.
July 24th has come and gone without a peep. Until this final lease commitment is signed, the money for the demolition will not be released.
Dave..you are the optimist..I am finally in the cornah that WooTown spent to much on this one project..and at the expense of other things we could have done with the money and energy exterted
