Future Project; Part 2 Southgate Place

Very similar to Mason Winfield. Started out as owner occupancy but has shifted to 25 low income apartments in a single building that will cost $7,000,000. Like I said below, I believe Mason Winfield will mirror this project and also change into rentals.

Keep in mind I am only tracking projects in recent memory (last 5 years). Looking at the attached map, we are talking 255 units. Updated map.

That's $280K / unit, which is way too high. Probably cheaper to buy existing single-family houses.

Money is irrelevant when it is not yours, but the tax-payers, when it comes to low income housing development.

Randissimo, when you figure it out on a per sq foot basis the cost is even more absurd....and all these low income chieftains like Teve Seasdale & Teve Spatten need a job for at least the better part of another decade another....so you can just expect more & more of this NO/LO (Pualie says)

Did you ever wonder what these low income housing pimps would do if they had to compete in the dreaded private sector (as Carr Says). Same thinking for cops & firemen.

BTW...where's the WPD Pay-gate scandal at now and what about Redact-gate, too. In redact-gate teh judge I think is going to have to read the entire 700 pages to discern what s.b. redacted and what shouldnt............and then can we expect a city appeal when the city gets their lunch eaten by the T&G. I will also predict the T&G gets court costs awrded too.
