Recently there was a story in the newspaper detailing the grand opening, picture of Lt Governor at the grand opening this past week.

$350,000 per unit. Clearly our local newspapers are letting a great story go re: waste of taxpayer money......or ...who knows what else
$350,000....WTH is all the money going? This makes the moved & rehabbed 3 deckers on Hollis St look inexpensive as they only blew $600,000 on each of these.
And just think I know where I can buy a brand new raised ranch over in Tatnuck.......for how much.............$260,000...???.......and it even has offstreet parking for 2 cars.....and these fools are wasting my tax dollars on 350,000 unit apts/condos in the Middle of Main South?
See what happens when you put a politician with NO expreience in charge of a building company.
I have to comment on Wormtowns piece re: Pleasant St fire on here b/c ......I cant seem to get posted on his site...............prob. somehting I am doing wrong.
Overcrowding...huh........well todays T&G letters to the editor remonded me once agian about the PIP shelter and the supposed eventually closing......the editorial writer wants to know just when.......and i think he also mentions (or if he didn't I will) overcrowding at PIP shelter all winter long.........
I wonder if the PIP is sprinkler'ed???
And why is it never shut down for continued overcrowding in the winter. Whats happens if there"s another Coconut Grove Or Station Night Club type fire at teh PIP and b/c it's overcrowded some PIP'sters are unable to escape............guess who's going to be paying that civil suit......taxpayers of Worc...........i doubt city's insuancre co will be obligated to pay given thee city inspecdtional servives dept just turns a blind eye to the continued over crowding there and the police sometimes actually bring those who result in the overcrowding there o rtell tehm to go there.............yet inspectional services bust on my cahonnes with a sherriffs letter for an unregistered car that aint even mine........then there the salt shed at Clark St & east Mtn........but i wont go there....everyone knows my rant about that .............I need Jeff Wormtown to do story with pics re: it. Got any bumper music for a very slowing imploding, tipping structure?
You know I am thinnking that back in the late 60's or early 70's (maybe Jan 1971)'s there was a bad rooming house fire on Pleasant St just opposite west St....Hotel Pleasant I think it was called?.....I knew a passing acquintance from work who was a hobo/junkie who was killed in it...........back then they were called hobo's and PINS (People IN Need of Services) was an unknown acronym and not part of our vernacular.
And what did I partilly read last week in T&G about another 1/2 way house somewhere in worc.......only read the headline.....so I forget.....
