I am puzzled why Massport continually advertises in the Legal section of newspapers for work at Worc Airport. I thought MP manages the place. They neither lease it nor own it.........so why would they advertise for what appears to be major paving work at Worc Airport?

Just seems unusual that the property manager has the legal authority to contract on behalf of what the city owns in their (MP's) name?

Am I missing something here?

Paulie, if I am thinking of the correct house, your place has always has caught my eye with "pinkie/reddish" Victorian(?) colors.......that is set back from the road about 75 ft?? Do I have the correct house?

Are Suneys Fish & Chips on Friday ...... worth the trip......as Dunkin Donuts used to say?

Cianci , IMO is blowing a lotta hot air and smoke (cigarette). Maybe he'll get Prov. to sell off a cemetary so he can claim he was instrumental in privatizing something (the dead who dont vote and his talk radio audience who are brain dead)). This is the Rhodie Island equivalent of Deval and police details........ i.e. we will see minor changes if at all....with the explanation

"that after we reviewed the numbers extensively..........it's less expensive to not privatize and privatization at this time is not in the best interests of the City of Providence (employees & my audience)"

File under: Providence Municipal Reaserch Bureau (ignored)

Too bad about Pan Am, it was actually nice to see their 727 flying into & out of ORH on the Florida flights.
