So I am wheeling home from Boston at 1230am this morning (Fri) on the Hackarama Pike and I am in need of drugs.....as in caffeine..........

So as I am just leaving Allston-Brighton toll plaza headed west bound to Wootown I see a sign along side the Pike that says McD's $1.00 any sized coffee.................I think great....I'll stop at teh McD's at the Framingham rest area......all i reaaly need is a small coffee..........it being late at night.

Walk into McD's...no one in line but me....order my small coffee.....guys says $1.90............I said ........ohhhhhhhhh?......I loook up at sign ....coffee is $1.79 + $.11 = $1.90. So WTH am I supposed to think? Sucker punched again by the likes of the Mass pike.....plus ....$6.00 in tolls roundtrip to S. Station

I mean WTH.......!!!!!!! This is worse than the Boy Scouts who on holiday weeekends place signs along the road saying free coffee & Juice at next rest area.......and then when you get there and grab a coffee, there's a "kitty" or "till" or "tray" full of dollar bills...hin t....hint......nuttin;s for free..........they want a TIP......talk about getting juiced......geeeeeeesh.......by The BSA of America........fool me once shame on you....fool me twice........

Bill you had a list of low income housing projects that are "on deck". I was sitting traffic yesterday wondering if the old St Vincents site will be NO/LO?

I think they have (had) planned Townhouses along Marion St and condo's in what remains of the old St V's?

Looks like that project has assumed "City Sq status"???

Jahn,

Worcester Academy owns the former St. Vincent's property. They are planning an athletic complex and fields at the site.
